Car Hire - One tip for those flying into Lisbon. If you can, split up and send the driver in your party, complete with paperwork and driving license, straight from the flight through to the hire car desk while you collect the luggage, this can save a lot of time.  The queues for car hire can be horrendous & even when you have already booked the car it still takes an age when you get to the desk!

The quickest way to pick up a hire car is to book it with a firm that provides a “meet & greet” service, they will wait at the arriving passenger entrance for you & take you to one side to fill out any paperwork, thus removing any reason to queue at all.
